Loan Periods, Fines & Fees
All art prints, books, pamphlets, compact discs, audio cassettes, CD-ROMs, and maps are loaned for three weeks. Also, some issues of magazines may be borrowed for 7 days. If these materials are borrowed on the Bookmobile, the loan period is two weeks.
At any one time, you are allowed to have up to 50 items checked out. Exceptions to this guideline apply to some A-V materials.
Materials must be checked out at the Circulation Desk.
Most items can be renewed (the big exception is new DVDs). Renewals can be made at any location. They can also be made online and by telephone.
If a renewable item is owned by LPLS and no other patron has requested it, the item may be renewed at least once. Items owned by other CLEVNET libraries may be renewed one time if no other patrons have requests on the items, with the exception of InterLibrary Loans (ILLs).
