Freecycle Network
The Freecycle Network is made up of thousands of groups with over eight million members around the world. Freecycle is a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It is all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by local volunteers. Membership is free. To search for items, find your community - or county - by entering its name or zip code into the search box on the website. If searching by county name be sure to include the state as well. To post replies you need to join Yahoo Groups.
